Who we are

Listen, You can tell your boss you are headed to Vegas for training or the talks or whatever, we don't care. But we know why you go to Blackhat and DEF CON. You are going to PARTY. Since 2009 we have been listing all the parties happening at BlackHat and DEF CON. We list anything we know of, even private invite ones. (Yeah, some people got a little pissed about that, but we just want to party!) The majority of the parties occur during BlackHat but that is when (Defcon Parties) the hardest. If you find that we are missing a party please help us out by filling out this google form (link below). Everyone uses the calendar differently but most people add the parties they plan to attend to their own calendar.

There really is only one shirt that all the DEF CON attendees want. It is this years DEFCONPARTIES SHIRT. You can order this year's shirt here! This year's DCP shirt is a playful nod to the concept of a ChatGPT hallucination. It features a montage of past DCP shirt designs, creating an artistic look at all the past shirts.

There really isn't any point for you to be reading this page. You are here for the calendar. It is not being shown yet, because the 2025 party list has not be released yet. Our calendar is pretty easy to use, but there might be some features that you didn't know about.

  • Click on any party that you are interested in, it will create an agenda!
  • Most parties you have to pre-register for. There is a link in each party card
  • We cannot guarantee that you will get into every party, but knowing is half the battle

DEFCONPARTIES is the premier destination where DEF CON attendees discover the best events to attend during the conference. With over 100,000 visitors annually, our platform is the go-to source for information on what to do at DEF CON. Featuring your event on our calendar could significantly increase its visibility among this highly engaged audience. Our calendar has grown from a simple shared Google Calendar to a fully responsive web-app and inclusion into the Hacker Tracker app. For 2025, we are going to allow vendors to customize their "PartyCard" allowing you to customize the look and feel, description, and keep the information about your party up to date.
